Q&A

How is the Wellosophy 360 System different from other Functional Fitness programs?

Typically the tools of a functional fitness trainer include familiar equipment you’ve seen at the gym: balance balls, wobble boards, foam rollers, hula hoops, yoga blocks, resistance bands, and standard free weights.  Traditional trainers place great deal of emphasis on balance, requiring the body to activate smaller stabilizer muscles not used in many other forms of exercise. Also, rather than emphasizing a certain number of repetitions of each exercise, a functional fitness trainer will likely focus more on your level of effort, comfort, and improvement of any physical conditions or limitations by emphasizing working several areas of the body at once, rather than isolating a particular muscle or group of muscles, like performing sets of bicep curls.

The 360 System takes a much more comprehensive approach to whole body wellness by incorporating our BodyWorx360 routines that utilize highly sophisticated, state-of-the-art, zero impact Functional Movement equipment combined with: a) Full Spectrum Infrared Light Therapy; b) Whole Body Vibration, c) Nutritional Support technologies, d) and DeepWave™ Therapy The synthesis of detoxifying, mobilizing and energizing the entire body in a logical, synchronous fashion optimizes the autonomic physiologic functions of the body to promote health and well-being. By using clinically-tested, scientifically-proven strategies, the 360 System is designed to increase microvascular circulation, reduce inflammation, release microadhesions, and restore the body’s delicate balance of biodynamic functions that become progressively damaged from the cascade of environmental toxicity and other cumulative stresses of modern life that we endure every day.

What if you’re already in great shape?

BodyWorx360 (BWX360) Functional Fitness training can also help people who are in excellent athletic condition. Many world-class athletes can leg-press 500 pounds or more, but don’t have the muscular control for a one-legged squat, due to a lack of stability, flexibility, and poorly integrated muscular strength. This is where BWX360 Functional Fitness  training can make a substantial difference.

Most experts agree that if you’re healthy, you shouldn’t wait for an injury to occur to start a functional fitness or restorative exercise program. Mobility loss and misalignment frequently occur from simple activities of daily life, or repetitive movements, and even the aging process itself. Our BWX360 Functional Fitness training incorporates preventive strategies that focus on areas of potential concern to prevent problems and reduce the potential for injuries before they arise.

Our BWX360  training is ideal for clients at any level of physical conditioning whether they are a professional athlete, a weekend warrior, or anyone who simply wants to find a simple, safe, time-tested, cost-effective means to achieve their “personal best.”
